'Waiting For The Beatles: An Apple Scruffs Story' first edition paperback book by Carol Bedford, originally published in 1984 by Blandford Press.

This 296 page book accounts the experiences of a member of the Apple Scruffs, who were a unique collection of young women/fans that developed a special relationship with the Beatles, providing protection, loyalty and friendship wherever the band went - Paul would go on to call them "the eyes of the world" and George wrote the song 'Apple Scruffs' about them.

The book is overall in very good condition for it's age, with only some very slight creasing down the spine (see photos). Two internal pages have a name handwritten in blue ink.
