An original promotional postcard for The Year of the Liverpool Beatle Statue Festival, which was held 15th/16th July 1978 at Mr Pickwick's Club, Fraser Street, Liverpool.
 
The event was held in light of City of Liverpool honouring the name of the Beatles and commissioning sculptor Brian Burgess (sponsored by Bob Wooler and Allan Williams) to create a historic statue to be positioned in the city centre.
 
The postcard is overall in good condition for it's age (see photos).
