An original 1st edition paperback copy of 'The Beatles as Musicians: The Quarry Men through Rubber Soul' by Walter Everett, published in 2001 by Oxford University Press

This 452 page book is the second volume of Walter Everett's look at the music of the Beatles focussing on early period Beatles from 1956 through 1965, and studies in particular the compositional techniques the band utilised in the writing of their songs, as well as performance practice, recording procedures and more.

The outer cover of the book has some surface residue marks and minimal edge-wear (see photos). An internal page and the inside back cover have some handwritten names and doodles in blue ink.
