Mark Featherstone-Witty signed 'Optimistic, Even Then' hardback book. This is a pre-publication book from 2001 as per internal note (actual publication date mid-January 2002) by The Schools For Performing Arts Press.
 
Mark has signed the internal title page "I hope you enjoy reading this Janet - All the best" and has dated to August 2001 in purple ink. 
The 272 page book tells the story behind the formation of two institutes - the British Record Industry School in London, and the Liverpool Institute for Performing Arts (LIPA) in Liverpool.
 
There is some surface marking on the dust cover, but otherwise the book is in decent condition (see photos).
